Hi folks, I’m helping to organize an event for the Lamorinda Democratic Club. It’s a concert celebrating young voters role in the recent election. We are calling it Barack ‘N Roll. It’s on Friday, Jan 23rd, 2009 from 7:00pm-11:00pm (can’t be on a school night for the students). So far we have a good line-up of local bands: Two Left Feet, Go Kart Mozart, Pinstripe Rebellion, and Azrael. The concert will be at Red House Studios, 1667 Botelho Drive, Walnut Creek. It costs $10 to get in. We are really looking forward to it!
It’s an exciting time for young voters. I know of lots of young people who want to become involed in politics. In fact I’m helping friend whom I went to high school with run to be a delagate at the CA Democratic Convention for the 11 AD. Exciting times. I hope to keep you posted!
