The political he-said she-said carnage continues in the Assembly 15 race as the campaign of Republican Abram Wilson issues a video clip that purports to document
Democrat Joan Buchanan’s support for the Peripheral Canal. During a recent candidate debate, moderated by Lisa Vorderbrueggen, Buchanan denied the charge, but Wilson waved a piece of paper as proof and now has produced this video clip as documentation.

Well Joan does mention a p-canal. She can’t run away from that fact. But she does go on to give reasonable response about bringing factions together. Well Joan Buchanan must know running for the assembly is not bean bag. I have been looking at some of her your mail pieces and she gives as good as she gets.

If it does not start raining soon in California there will be no water for the p-canal or the rest of us for that matter.

Here is Joan Buchanan’s complete answer at the Livermore Chamber of Commerce forum; she speaks of bringing everyone together and finding a solution that will work for all areas. Abram Wilson is obviously more concerned with distorting his opponent’s position than looking for solutions.

Buchanan’s rather distainful treatment of Mayor Wilson when she was clearly in the wrong is disgusting. Let’s be realistic, Buchanan’s staff had taped the earlier event, and you know she would have watched her performance and known what she had said about something that is as controversial as the Peripheral Canal. Buchanan gloated after the exchange with Wilson that she had received the endorsement of the people she said would benefit from the Peripheral Canal. Does she think they weren’t rewarding her for what she said?

Beware of this sort of person. They will clearly say, do, or in this case deny anything to get elected.

Buchanan has Peripheral Vision. First she says she is for the Peripheral Cananl. The she denies her statements. Which is it?

Here we go with another politician who says one thing to some people and something else to others. I hope voters are paying attention, cause it’s hard to keep track of the dangerous things she supports including questionable water policy and making it easier for the Legislature to raise your taxes.
