Don’t know who is actually behind it but there is at least one other blogger in Concord. Monument Boulevard Immigration features information, reports, and rants on immigration and its effects on the Monument Corridor. But I think the post regarding the Legacy Park Apartment Brothel Bust misses the mark. Say what you will about prostitution in and around Monument Boulevard, but $260 per hour hookers are definitely not a problem caused by unchecked illegal immigration in the Monument Corridor.
More interestingly, I spotted the reference to the LA Times report that the LA County Supersvisors just voted 3-2 to instruct the LA County jail system to train jail personnel to screen out incarcerated illegals and turn them over to the Feds.
Can’t wait for that argument to take place in Martinez. That’s going to be a hot ticket.

I have been enlightened by an informed source that CC County policy has been “An INS Officer would come into the jail a couple of times a week and check on people that had been convicted, put an INS “hold” on them and then track them until they had completed their sentence. Then a deportation hearing would take place, and depending on the judicial finding they “might” be deported.” So I doubt the Supes will kick that sleeping dog. But taxpayers are still on the hook for the cost of housing the convicted perp. What… you want to let ‘em go if they promise to go home? Right.
