Town Hall rallies and protests are planned for three August 15th Town Hall meetings scheduled by Pete Stark. Democrats and local media are blaming “right-wing” nut jobs with Pelosi even going as far as saying people are showing up with “swastikas” and such.
Also on August 15th, Barbara Boxer will be doing some book signings throughout the Bay Area, including in San Jose and Danville. The Conservative Forum of Silicon Valley are putting together a protest for the San Jose book signing on August 15th.
WHAT: Rep. Pete Stark (CD-13) Town Hall Meetings
WHEN: Saturday, August 15th at various times in morning and early p.m.
WHERE:
- FREMONT: 9a.m. Fremont Senior Center , 40086 Paseo Padre Pkwy, Fremont, CA 94538

Participating groups include: We Surround Them-SF Bay Area, Golden Gate Minutemen, and Fremont Tea Party. These groups above have indicated that they will focus their efforts at the Fremont location, but some are interested in attending all three meetings.
WHAT: Barbara Boxer book signing “protest” by Conservative Forum
WHEN: Saturday, August 15, 1:00pm-2:30pm; Gathering at ~12:30pm and things will disperse no later than ~2:30pm
WHERE: Barnes and Noble, 3600 Stevens Creek Boulevard, San Jose
Senator Barbara Boxer is having a book signing on Saturday, August 15th at 1:00pm at Barnes and Noble, 3600 Stevens Creek Boulevard, San Jose. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if we had 1,000 protesters on the corner of Stevens Creek Boulevard near San Tomas Expressway with signs protesting the rationing of health care with Obamacare? They encourage people to start gathering around 12:30pm, and things will disperse no later than 2:30pm.
The Conservative Forum of Silicon Valley strongly recommend that no one disturb customers of Barnes and Noble, nor confront Senator Boxer. There will be security, and any confrontation would negatively reflect on the protest and our credibility. They are also strongly discouraging anyone from protesting inside the store. However, placards with informative messages would be very appropriate as we greet car passersby — and accept their “thumbs-up” gestures.

People are showing up with “swastikas”, heck some are spry painting them on the signs for congressmans offices. My favorite is the one with obama wearing a Hilter stache with the word “I’ve changed”. This isn’t left-wing propaganda. There are freaks of the far right, just like there are loonies on the far left.
It’s funny, lately my grandmother who lived through the holocast keeps saying “a lot of Americans are pussies” and of course she always says this while I am drinking something, which makes it squirt out my nose, I mean that is funny stuff coming from a 90 year old woman. But she has a very solid point. I doubt many Americans really understand, nor care to know what it was like to be ruled by the Nazi’s.
~ EDITOR ADDS — You are so right RF. Most don’t recall that the (National Socialists) Nazis and the Leninist inspired Kommies were battling over who really was the true socialist vanguard that spoke for Germany’s masses: government or party. Seems like we have that same problem today. All we need is that charismatic leader. Oops.
I am pro-health care reform and I was one of the “folks” in Fremont —- America where free speech and opportunities to hear both sides is LEGAL. Get used to seeing us, hearing us and maybe try listening.
~ EDITOR ASKS — Glad to gear that! But with so many proposals it’s hard to keep straight what pro health care reform means, honestly.
Which pro health care reform are you talking about? Co-op or co
promise, Public Option or die, or single payer and die?
Thank you for helping to light a fire under the seats of the pro-health care reform folks! We went to the San Leandro town hall this morning and there were so many pro-health care reform people lined up we couldn’t even get in. Had it not been for organizations like yours, I might not have been there.
