Come join the Walnut Creek weekly TEA Parties starting this Friday and every Friday from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM, at the Walnut Creek Bart Station on Ygnacio Valley Road.
TEA Parties will continue until Washington, D.C. stops trying to dictate the kind of health care they think we need! The Tea Parties at WC BART are sponsored by all of the Republican groups in the Walnut Creek/Lamorinda area, including Lamorinda RWF, Ygnacio RWF, Conservative Connection, Conservative Support Group, and Contra Costa GOP.
Bring your signs, bring yourselves, and let’s show our community what we stand for.

I was looking for a group of people who are as concerned as I am about tax increases and spending.
I tried talking with John Garamendi on my opinons about getting rid of all of our teachers, and too much spending on state solar initiatives which include solar rebates for middle class people, and solar grants for low income houses and government buildings at a time when we are losing our states most valuable assets – our children……………..(our childrens education).
I also wanted to speak to Mr. Garamendi about backing down on the democratic controlled legislature and the liberals who are pushing the states from within, and pressureing both parties to embrace a single payer system and universal care.
Not a peep from Mr. Garamendi.
I’m not a big fan of California politicians or politics.
There are too many special interests in our Legislature………..it is impossible .for Republican FISCAL conservatives to actually stick their necks out, because we can’t get elected if we don’t support the Hispanic agenda, which consumes the majority of welfare spending in the entire United States.
TANF, WIC, etc………spending on Hispanic people In Los Angeles alone constitues over half of all the welfare spending in the entire United States.
In the state of California, one county alone (Los Angeles) consumes well over half of the states spending on food stamps, school breakfast, lunch and dinner and SSI spending. Yet, there is no push to stop the growth in undocumented women having children by grandfathering in the women already here, and eliminating the benefit for newcomers.
Republican fiscal conservatives also lack a voice in the media.
Alhtough people like Jon Fleischman have a great rapport with poltiicians such as Dick Ackerman, they are too wrapped up into preaching to the informed choir. The news doesn’t reach ordinary people.
Liberals tend to be put off by social conservatives, and that is another problem that conservatives who are both fiscal and social conservatives face.
Titania Jones
That is a scary picture!
