In a ground breaking effort to bring health care to people who need it, the Concord Rotary has worked with local health agencies to offer a non-profit urgent care facility called RotaCare Concord. The Clinic functions as an urgent care facility that is is open Thursday evenings at Cambridge Elementary School in Concord from 5 PM – 9 PM.

Patients are seen by appointment. Patients call in between 1 and 3 on Thursdays at 925-429-6409.

Rotacare Concord is trating 15 – 20 patients at each clinic. It does appropriate lab and x rays, affordable followup and, with the help of local social service personnel, assists patients in finding continuing medical care.

Physicians, Nurse Practitioner, Nurses, Pharmacists, Social Service Personnel, as well as many lay volunteers who function as registrars, do data entry, assist with interpretation and help make the clinic run smoothly. All volunteers at the clinic are fully insured for liability and malpractice. RotaCare has 501(c)(3) nonprofit that just celebrated its 20th anniversary.
