Rightwing Christian leaders like Dobson and others that fulminate about Supreme Court Justice nominee Roberts’ helping gay people win a court case only points out the utter totalitarian nature of their worldview that is so pinheaded it doesn’t even deserve to be called Christian. These guys read the constitution just like they read scripture, historicistically, driven by the secular spirit of scientism and don’t even know it. No clue about religious pluralism in the public square and the competence of the State.
And then there’s Dobson’s eloquence on the stem-cell issue.

Rightwing Ayatollahs… do you mean to be saying the Christian Taliban? A term that is probably more accurate but some people will take it as an attack on Christianity, but just as the Taliban is a disgrace to Islam mainstream, it would appear that you are saying that these Christian extremist are a disgrace to Christian mainstream.
