Look for a lot of developers to be attending this fundraiser, they are the primary backers of Peterson for District Attorney. Developers and Concord Disposal. Concord Disposal is backing Peterson because he’s voted to hike garbage rates during his years on the council – it’s payback time -, and the Developers are backing him only because they want to develop the old Concord Naval weapons station. Law enforcement in this county is opposed to the Mark Peterson for District Attorney campaign. Peterson is cynically trying to “buy” the district attorney’s office with money from developers. It’s no accident Congressman George Miller, Congressman John Garamendi, State Senator Torlakson Sherrif Warren Rupf, former Sherrif Dick Rainey, and every police officer association in the county (except one) are backing longtime prosecutor and Judge Dan O’Malley for District Attorney. Dan O’Malley is the law enforcement backed candidate, he’s wearing the white hat in this race.
I would like to help in your campaign.
I want the latinos to be behind your campaign.
