NY Times article on religious exemptions for faith-based organizations

Of all places! Stephen Lazarus of CPJ reports that the New York Times today published an article by Peter Steinfels that makes the case for religious exemptions for faith-based social service agencies. In particular, he points to the recent California ruling that San Francisco-based Catholic Charities must provide employees with access to contraception as part of its employee benefits program.
