According to City sources, the Concord Naval Weapons Station has been officially recorded in the Federal Registry as Surplus and the City of Concord can now begin the process of HUD required homeless review and other social service needs assessment without fear that the Navy could yet hand over the property to a group like Shaw. Expect more info at City Council meeting this evening.
