The Monument Crisis Center offers a Senior Moments Brown Bag program for all Senior Citizens June 8 and then every first and third Fridays.
The program began in March 2007 with 5 seniors and now has more than 60 seniors participating (not counting the senior volunteers that help staff)! The program starts around 10:30 and includes activities, education, music, socialization and refreshments and ends with Brown Bag food distribution (includes dried, canned and fresh foods!) in collaboration with the Food Bank of Contra Costa.
