Mayor of Claycord addresses Baldwin Park woes

her honorable mayor of claycord addresses Baldwin Park woesWe can sleep at nights now that the Mayor Of Claycord is on the case about the many woes of Baldwin Park. She’s not the first and won’t be the last.

The City of Concord could start by not letting Loaves and Fishes relocate in the downtown area. A soup kitchen could just as easily be located at St Bonnies or at Concord Community Park on Cowell. Both have the truly needed facilities (you don’t need a kitchen, people, try a tent in the parking lot) and space.

admin,

i’ve been reading your blog for almost a year now and i like it very much.

my only critique is regarding your attempts at satire. satire can be a difficult form of humor to pull off, like sarcasm. it is especially easy to misunderstand in written form, with no other cues to read from.

clearly i am not the only one who sometimes has difficulty understanding your point when it is muddled behind your unrefined brand of satirical humor.

your blog is very popular which unfortunately means you’ll have to spoon feed many of your ideas to people, especially if you want to mix it up with satire and sarcasm.

statements that may be well understood when spoken can be confusing when written because the cues of vocal tone and body language are not there.

that said, i love your blog, you point of view and your opinions about concord’s insane coddling of criminals and bums. keep up the good work.

Down Watchdog. Sit. You missed the satire.

Here’s your treat.

Most people who have lived in Concord for awhile would understand that the community park on cowell is across the street from the holy hill of St Francis Drive where the rich white folks live, and former residence of Helen Allen before she moved to Sacratomato.

The point is, Concord Council would get an earful if the the bull shit that goes on at Baldwin Park on behalf of Loaves and Fishes was brought out to cowell and rubbed in the noses of Concord’s elite.

Why shouldn’t they share in the glory that is Concord just like the poor unrepresented folks downtown.

The bit about St Bonnies is we here a lot from that faith community about how we need to feed the poor. Well, it’s time Concord should let them step up to the plate instead of being holy roller nimbies.

A crowd of hungry and poor get fed every Saturday morning in a park in Pittsburg. Great BBQ chicken, I must add. No kitchen, no Taj Mahal facility required, despite the claims of homeless advocates that live somewhere else but are happy to trash someone else’s neighborhood.

Good dog

Your comment is assinine. Why on earth would you draw homeless into another residential area? Loaves and Fishes has caused so much heartache to the City with it’s proximity to residential housing – and we now have some hope for getting some peace with it’s relocation. They need to relocate to areas where they won’t sleep on my lawn or behind the bushes at my nice neighborhood grocery store. Arnold Industrial… Jones Ranch… somewhere away from my children. I realize you love to stir the pot, but do you live in Concord?? I have to wonder.

Concord Community Park is a nice place to take a family. Why would anyone want to turn it into what Baldwin Park is now?
