With the 2010 census coming up and the possibility of new voting districts getting made by rank amateurs, here’s your chance to get a Phd in Gerrymandering!

When map makers have more power over elections than voters, the system is out of whack. But politics being what it is, here’s your opportunity to get certified in voter district gerrymandering. This time honored tradition goes way back in the U.S. history, and is the mainstay of political elites and parties in power everywhere.

But now you can get an edge and learn how to gerrumander districts yourself at The Redistricting Game, a project of the USC Annenberg Center. Watch the intro, then play the game. You’ll learn how to gerrymander a city or state into one party rule in no time!
