While Republicans everywhere are in total retreat and hiding for cover in defeat. I recently discovered a bright spot out there. Judy Lloyd. As an Ex-Presidential Appointee from the Department of Labor and Bushie in exile, you would think she would be running from California and down to more agreeable environs like Texas.
You might also think that after losing the California State Assembly District 15 primary royal rumble she would be jaded. Even more, one would think that after being invited to apply for the San Ramon Valley School Board and making it to the final round to be left waiting at the alter yet again, Lloyd would be thoroughly disenchanted.
But Noooooo!
While I have had my differences over the years with Lloyd, she is nothing if not tenacious and resilient. The one thing that nobody expected Lloyd to do during her AD-15 race was to raise enough money to be a serious candidate. Well what do you know. She kicked butt and showed the boys a thing or two in the process.
Then like a pit bull on a piece of meat, Lloyd decided to dig in and start a company raising money for non-profits. As opposed to moving to a state capitol and becoming a lobbyist. With the assets of many local non-profits near depletion with the collapse of the stock market, Lloyd is doing the Lord’s work in the devil’s city.
Best of luck Mrs. Lloyd for not being jaded by the failure that surrounds many politically active Republicans.
