Just when I thought the freak show characters of election 2008 were put to bed I was treated to video of Joe the Plumber, Samuel Joseph Wurzelbacher, lecturing Israeli journalists in Israel.
I have to give Joe credit for extending his fifthteen minutes of fame to sixteen minutes. He has a point that reporters tend to be squishes when it comes to terrorists randomly shooting missles at Israeli cities. But to my point I think maybe it is time for him to team up with another media freak and keep us entertained during the upcoming Obama years.
I am thinking of a Sarah Palin-Joe the Plumber world tour. Or Joe the Plumber and the Run Away Bride on a US. Tour. The most intriguing combination would be Sarah Palin-Joe the plumber world tour.
There would be such a media firestorm hat I cannot imagine how much fun that would be. I bet the Contra Costa Republican Party’s monthly speaker series with Political Vanguard would jump at the chance to host this once in a lifetime event. Or even the Lesher Center in Walnut Creek would be a great place to host these august media figures.
