The November issue of Fast Company has a long feature story on Bob Curley, a rising star and raging tech nerd, who is not so quietly changing the face of online newspapers.
It has become fairly obvious that the Contra Costa Times, even with its zoned editions and weeklies, cannot cover in print all the news people want to see covered across the entire County. So it will be interesting to see if and how Media News and other old newspaper dogs incorporate any of Curley’s vision or ideas about how to jump start online editions of local papers.
