The Youtube clip below is interesting. Republican candidate for CA-10, David Harmer—unemployed corporate lawyer turned congressional candidate—gets paid a golden parachute from bailed out banks and collects unemployment.
Is this a great country or what!
I don’t know if any of it is true. As he will probably be crushed in the election. But as these things go it is entertaining!

Just because Harmer’s former companies got bailouts doesn’t mean he can’t be against bailouts.
As for his “golden parachute”? It’s called a severence and plenty of people in his field have them in their contracts in case they get laid off.
I’m sure Harmer’s career has been less of a financial drain on Americans and Californians than Garamendi’s decades of sucking off the public teet with taxpayer pork and salary.
Gotta agree with Garamendi on this one. Mr. Conservative David Harmer won’t even go on the record in support of H.R 1207. I don’t see much choice between Harmer and Garamendi.
