Since you use “RINO” as a perjorative, why don’t you tell us exactly what meets your standard as a “REAL” Republican.
Since when was being pro-war (Iraq and Afghanastan) not the bread and butter issue of the Republican Party and conservative issues?
I’ve heard people label some as “liberal” Republicans, and others as “moderate” Republicans. I’m beginning to think both are code words for RINO.
Senator Snowe is a RINO! Her defenition of “moderate” would be pro-bailout, pro-stimulus, pro-cap & trade, pro-war, weak on illegal immigration and anti-gun. I would say that she has more in common with the radical left. Since when did being toe-to-the-line on bread and butter conservative issues make you “extreme-right?”
