The Concord Library has the following FREE events scheduled for the Fall.
Helping with these events are the Teen Advisory Group (TAG)* and the Computer Docent** volunteers:

Oct 1 (Thu) 6:30PM Interenet for Extreme Beginners Part One then see Oct 22 for part 2 Space limited pre-register required at library or call 925-646-5455

Oct 6 (Tue) 4:30PM Teen Lounge- Video Gaming- Teen Book Club members only

Oct 13 (Tue) 4:30PM Teen Book Club: Evermore by Alyson Noel, read and discuss register at reference desk

Oct 17 (Sat) 10AM-2PM Practice SAT test Run by the Kaplan Group register at reference desk, call 1-800-KAP-Test or www.kaptest.com/college

Oct 20 (Tue) 4:30PM Follow Up with Test Strategies Run by the Kaplan Group

Oct 22 (Thu) 6:30PM Internet for Extreme Beginners Part Two

Oct 29 (Thu) 6:00PM MOVIE: discuss classic mentoned in Twilight and Evermore: Wuthering Heights, then watch the Wurthering Heights movie

Nov 3 (Tue) 4:30PM Video Gaming-Teen Book Club Only

Nov 10 (Tue) 4:30PM Teen Book Club: The Knife of Never Letting Go by Patrick Ness, read and discuss, register at reference desk

Nov 17 (Tue) 4:30PM Teen Lounge- Video Gaming-Teen Book Club members only

Dec 8 (Tue) 4:30PM Teen Book Club: The Lightening Thief by Rick Riordan, read and discuss, register at reference desk

* TAG- Interested in helping the library plan programs, create displays or recommend books/music/movies? Join the Concord Lubrary’s TAG/ They meet the first Saturday of each month at 2:30PM.

** Computer Docent- if youare 16-19 years of age and enjoy helping others, consider applying to become a computer docent. Docents work once a week from 4PM to 6PM training others on computer and internet skills.

For both these above, pick up a Volunteer application at the library.
