Free Cash for College Workshops, Feb 2, 6

California Cash for College, a partnership program of the California Student Aid Commission, the East Bay Consortium/Cal-SOAP and Diablo Valley College announces workshops at Diablo Valley College in Pleasant Hill (Feb 2) and at Mt. Diablo High School in Concord (Feb 6). During the free workshops, financial aid professionals will provide hands-on, multilingual financial aid assistance to help students and their families successfully complete the forms necessary to apply for Cal Grants – free cash for college – and other financial aid.

February 2nd, 10 am-2:00 pm at Diablo Valley College in Pleasant Hill
February 6th, 6:30-9:30 pm at Mt. Diablo High School in Concord

High school seniors who attend a 2008 Cash for College workshop and complete and file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and Cal Grant GPA Verification Form by the March 2 Cal Grant deadline could cash in on an extra $1,000 scholarship. Students and parents need to bring Federal income tax returns from 2007 (if filed) or previous tax returns, W-2 forms, pay check stubs or any records of earned income, current bank statements To Cash for College Workshops.
