
The Contra Costa Council, which says it promotes the economic vitality of Contra Costa County and the region, will host Senator Mark DeSaulnier, D-Concord, for lunch on Friday, November 20, beginning at 11:30, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, in Concord.
DeSaulnier will talk about the Bay Bridge, the California initiative process, the state water reform package and efforts in Sacramento to reform the legislative branch and the budget process. Hopefully he will explain how Californians can survive $21 Billion California budget deficits as far as the eye can see.
