How wonderful that Mark DeSaulnier is being honored. He is a fine public servant and a person who brings honesty to public service. If you ever have the opportunity to meet him you realize that unlike many politicians he is unconcerned with the attainment of power. He has that everyman quality to him and he is still the same level headed person you could have met twenty plus years ago when he was running TR’s Bar and Grill.
I can only imagine how wonderful it is for Mark and his sons that he is going to be a State Senator just as his father was so many years ago, a closing of the circle an achievement to hang your hat on. I know the old man is smiling! Mark you have had a career most people only dream of. But this is only the beginning. As I told you a long time ago the world is your oyster. If I dare say it you could easily be governor. You have everything it takes to do a great job!
