As expected, the Mark Desaulnier campaign for Congress, in typical fashion, launched its scorched-earth, nuclear option mailer against fellow Democrat and contender in the CD-10 Special Election to be held September 1. The mailer asks how Lt. Governor “John Garamendi can stand up for CD-10 when he won’t stand to represent his own district,” which the DeSaulnier campaign contends is CD-03 (Walnut Grove, CA).

Inside this pamphlet were two photos showing big buttons being worn saying things like “Where’s Contra Costa County” and no health care reform. These appear to have been added with a photo manipulation program, and I think this is wrong – it’s basically lying.
