Sources say Tom Del Beccaro has resigned from the Central Committee of the Republican Party in Contra Costa County (CCRP). Del Beccaro, author of The New Conservative Paradigm, also serves as the Vice Chair of the GOP in California who, sources say, hopes to succeed current state party chair Ron Nehring.
Greg Poulos, chairman of the CCRP confirmed the resignation but gave no reason; an e-mail to Del Beccaro for comment was not returned.

Del Beccaro won’t really be gone. When he gets back from the sex rehab clinic (Tom remember to say hi to Tiger) he’ll still have his puppet as chair (Greg Poulos), one of his many former girlfriends as treasurer (Darcy Linn), his personal pit bull (Patty O’Day) and lots of his handpicked space fillers on the Central Committee.
Sorry Jason, the crap that goes on in that Central Committee isn’t known by the public but it still stinks!
Tom’s destroyed the Central Committee and left it in debt. Can’t wait to see what happens if he’s elected state party chair. The Democrats have gotta be licking their chops already.

I received a call from Repube Party last night and they wanted me to listen to Newt Gingrich telling me what the party is going to do in the near future. I told them to stick it as I wasn’t listening to someone who is a sell out of the Conservative principles by backin radical Scuzzyfavor in NY. Just to have someone with an R next to their name.
There is a saying “Lead, follow or get out of the way” I recommend that since the Repubs can’t lead, they are not following so they better just get the hell out of the way.

We all know that there is an internal Financial Review Committee investigation of the CCRP finances. Is it a coincidence that Tom is resigning in the midst of the investigation of his handling of the finances… I think not. It’s just a matter of time before Greg and Darcy step down too. Gee I wonder what the Financial Review Committee uncovered!!
CCRP’s debilitating debt just won’t go away, and here Tom was hired by the poohbahs at the State Party to raise the Big Bucks. How can he save Talk Radio when he can’t even pay the rent?
Anyways, Tom has been missing in action for some time with unexcused serial absences since Spring ‘09; 0ther people get thrown off for that.
So maybe Greg was going to grow a spine and finally toss him.
Don’t forget there is an ad hoc budget investigation as well. Maybe it’s a good time to get out of town.
Mr. Del Beccaro is taking remedial pole dancing lessons to get in shape for the cover of his next book.
