The California Republican Party (CRP) was once a noble group of Republicans that produced Ronald Reagan, Richard Nixon, Pete Wilson and George Deukmejian and a many others.
But as I look at today’s CRP, I see a party of fools.
Republican activists are trying to recall three GOP legislators and the GOP governor, while the GOP leaders in both houses of the legislature have been forced from their top posts.
The latest bit of stupidity to come down the pike is that the party of conservatism donated $650,000 to Governor Schwarzenegger. Problem is the money is being used to fund the six ballot measures that are actively opposed by the CRP and hated by Republicans.
This is truly a WTF moment.
What is wrong with the CRP that they would let this happen? This political party is in need of deep psychotherapy. Meanwhile events just keep getting more twisted as the party is in complete free fall with no bottom in sight.
