The Contra Costa Literacy Conference will be held May 27, from 8:00 a.m. to 12 noon, at the Concord Hilton, located at 1970 Diamond Blvd, in Concord. The program will be presented by The Concord Literacy Coalition in partnership with Supervisor Susan Bonilla’s Office, Project Second Chance, the Contra Costa Library (Concord), and the Diablo Valley Literacy Council.
Enjoy Free coffee and continental breakfast hosted by the Hilton Hotel of Concord. Guest speakers, including Supervisor Susan Bonilla, will outline literacy issues and opportunities facing Central and Contra Costa County. Attendees will come from education, social service, and community at large to provide an excellent learning and networking opportunity for building literacy programs in Contra Costa County. Free exhibits booths are available for all non-profits who maintain an active literacy component. Booths and sponsorships, are available for a nominal donation to business interests wishing to support literacy in the community.
