Contra Costa GOP hosts BYOB Ballroom Dancing, Jan 28

hip hop republicans, republicans diversity, michael steele says GOP needs hip hop makeover, gop schedules ballroom dancing, contra costa politics, california political news

Sigh. The CCRP will host a dance, January 28, from 7:00 until 10:00 p.m., at the Oak Hill Park Ballroom Stone Valley Road West, Alamo.

$10 per person; bring a snack or bottled water to share. To Sign Up E-mail Mrs. Kathy Young.

The invitation evokes Grand OLD Party more than party. My Fair Lady is from another century, people. How out of touch with the reality of political demographics can this group possibly be?

How about a fundraising fiesta at the Michael Chavez Center in Concord.

Why not reach out to poor farm workers in the Delta who cannot work due to Democratic Party policies that keeps water from growers and kills jobs?

How about an emergency event to raise funds for the Bay Area Mission in Richmond that is being politically hounded with sudden and egregious health department claims by Supervisor Federal Glover’s wife(!) the minute after the faith-based shelter took a principled stand against Indian Casino pay offs for every politician in Contra Costa including the Supervisors led by John Gioia?

hiphop gopHow about a shout out to Michael Steele, Chairman of the Republican Party. What would really be funkadelic would be if the Blue Haired Bush Poodle herself, Lynne Leach, could organize an event along side the Hip Hop Republicans in an event highlighting racism perpetrated by Democrat policies against people of color in California.

I can see it now as GOP break dancers k’zzizzle their junk while the Federated Republican Women, some of whom gots plenty of back, look on shake that thang honey!

With all due respect to Mrs Young who is organizing this event, probably on her on dime since the CCRP is broke, I have to wonder just how clueless the GOP is; or are you all just socially autistic? Please, take the stick out of your collective ass.
