As part of its Summer long Concordstock, the City of Concord broke the Guinness world record with 2,052 guitar players strumming This Land is Your Land, by Woodie Guthrie. The previous record was 1802 guitars in Germany playing Smoke On The Water.
The City of Concord and the Todos Santos Business Association produced the event that was sponsored by CBS-5 and others. Concordstock includes a Summer long schedule of Acoustic Tuesday Concerts at Todos Santos Plaza, in downtown Concord.
