City of Antioch to offer cooling centers during heat wave

The City of Antioch will have available two (2) locations appointed as “Cooling Centers” to assist any citizens that are unable to maintain a safe environment during the potential Excessive Heat Emergency during the next three days.

The Antioch Senior Center located at 415 W. Second Street is available for all senior citizens.
Hours of operation will be 8:00 am to 5:00 pm for the next three (3) days as the potential emergency develops.

The Nick Rodriquez Community Center located at 215 ‘F’ Street is available for all citizens and ages.
Hours of operation will be from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm for the next three (3) days as the potential emergency develops.
