Chevron on familiar turf backing Supervisor Piepho

chevron supports mary piepho as it commits environmental and human rights abuses

Interesting story in today’s Contra Costa Times about local protests against Chevron—Environmental disasters, human rights abuses, manipulations of gas prices, political slush funds to sway corrupt politicians of bankrupt and poorly run, left-wing Banana Republics—with Chevron’s participation in Independent Expenditures* on behalf of Mary Piepho, are we talking about Ecuador or Richmond, Martinez, and Contra Costa County?

Well at least the Contra Costa Times is consistent. They endorsed Piepho and they are backing her to the hilt by not reporting hundreds of thousands of dollars of IE money. So much for a free press. Every word must be bought and paid for. What a disappointment the Times has become. Hatfield should be ashamed to go to work there.

It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see what is going on with Chevron and their support for Mary Piepho. I assure you it’s not because they think she does a good job as a Supervisor. They want her in that position so they can manipulate her when they need her for the refinery. It couldn’t be for education mind. Chevron treats people just about the same way Piepho treats people, with disregard.

I personally do not or will not buy Chevron gasoline, because of this companies International relations I don’t trust them.

~ EDITOR REPLIES – Probably should not trust the politicians they buy off with their blood money, as well. Sheriff Rupf doesn’t.
