How did the debate turn out?
With Lisa Vordebruggen’s softball interview of Miller and Josh Richman’s parroting of Democrat talking points on the necessity of the public option on page 1, Harmer should consider himself lucky to have Reffer as moderator instead of left-leaning hacks disguised as journalists.
Everyone knows the real reason David Harmer will not participate in the debate is because he is on his way to BURNING MAN
~ EDITOR BLUSHES — You give me too much credit. I heard Harmer begged off due to a previous engagement. But then, he also refused to appear on Barbara Simpson KSFO talk show with Chris Bunch per the direction of his brilliant and experienced campaign team. I have been as equally harsh with some Democrats but they have not refused to appear in what will prove to be an excellent forum.
I’ve heard Harmer will not be attending the debate because BGR is the moderator. Has anybody else heard about this?
If that’s true, and Harmer can’t manage to deal with local critics within the media in his own backyard, how is he expected to do in Washington DC? My guess is if he’s already hiding under his desk (playing it safe) he won’t be very effictive playing in the big leagues, and getting things done.
BGR has obviously gotten under his skin – maybe somebody should tell Harmer there is a democratic majority in Congress that won’t be very friendly either. Run and hide David — Run and HIDE! Too bad Harmer’s donors in Utah can’t bail him out of this one.
My vote goes to Clift. At least we know where he stands.
We’re hoping to have both Harmer and Garamendi agree to attend the CD-10 All Party Debate. We’d all like to hear what they have to say.
Feel free to submit a question at CD10Debate@gmail.com
Are you kidding me? David Harmer hasn’t agreed to appear at this debate? After all the whining & crying yesterday about not being able to dictate terms to Barbara Simpson that he ‘debate a Democrat’ on her show? He should have been the first one to sign up.
I also notice Garamendi’s name doesn’t appear on the roster. What–are those two planning their own private debate?
