Jerry Brown, Diane Feinstein, Gavin Newsome, Tony Villaraigosa, Willie Brown (no relation) are all mentioned as potential candidates for the 2010 California Governor election. But we increasingly hear of a new bunch of potential candidates from California’s tech industry also interested in running California in Steve Poizner, Meg Whitman, Chris Kelly (Atty General), and Steve Westly.
Given the health of current tech companies, can anyone from this field actually convince voters they can or will reign in out of control spending of the Democratic legislature? Even though Poizner comes off as the real geek, but I’m betting on Willie for now. The other Brown is a mean-spirited anachronism and Di-Fi has no Wi-Fi.
