Jerry Brown, former California Governor, Presidential candidate, Oakland Mayor and current California Attorney General, leads San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom in the most recent Field Poll released this afternoon.
Brown leads Newsom 47-27 with 26-percent undecided. However, 49 percent of Republicans are undecided on a GOP candidate, while former eBay exec Meg Whitman leads former Rep Tom Campbell 22-20, with Steve Poizner at 9.
Brown leads Whitman 50-29; Campbell 48-27, and Poizner 50-25.
Newsom also leads Whitman 40-31, Campbell 38-33, and Poizner 39-30.
