The CC County Soups voted 3-2 to oppose Proposition 75, the paycheck protection act that would require unions to get annual permission before spending member dues on politics instead of collective bargaining. Glover, DeSaulnier, and John (Bull Dog) Gioia voted in the majority. Supervisor Uilkema made a good point suggesting that if the BOS votes on prop issues they should vote on all or none.
It says a lot that DeSaulnier would cherry pick Prop 75 in such a partisan manner to the exclusion of all other prop issues.
