Join the Blackhawk Republican Women, October 7th, for hors d’oeuvres and no-host cocktails with David Harmer, the Republican candidate for the congressional seat vacated by Democrat Ellen Tauscher. To be held at the Blackhawk Country Club in Danville, CA, the evening begins with No-host cocktails at 5:30 p.m. with introductions and Harmer’s presentation at 6:15.
After winning the Republican nomination decisively and being outpolled only by Garamendi, whose 35 years in politics gave him high name recognition, Harmer said, “For all of us who care about limited government, free markets, the rule of law, and an opportunity society, this is a unique opportunity to win an upset victory and to send a powerful message to Washington.”
