Assemblyman Fletcher serves as Vice Chair of the Assembly Health Committee and the Select Committee on Biotechnology. In 2007, he completed his service in the United States Marine Corps Reserve where he worked as a Counterintelligence/Human Intelligence Specialist. He was awarded the Joint Service Commendation Medal and Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, as well as numerous other military awards.
