Art imitates art, after all! Den of Geek reports that 75 comics are or will be in movie production mode to hit screens anywhere from 2009-2013. Rumoured flicks include the usual suspects like Spidey 4, and Sin City 2 & 3, and X-Men; plus Silver Surfer is on tap, too. In the works is one of my childhood faves, Sgt Rock! (remember the Sherman tank haunted bu its namesake?; not to mention Thor (Daniel Craig turned it down) and Captain America. Look forward to screen adaptions of Tintin (2010) by Spielberg and then a sequel by Peter Jackson. Theaters should sell buckets of toy soldiers and ventriloquist starter kits in the lobby.
